which is strange because they are Americans, and Americans clap at everything.

    or a B-52

  • RokkerBoyy 3 months ago

also fuck you f1 doesnt have a jet pack

  • RokkerBoyy 3 months ago

Now firstly, we live in a world where people are allowed to like different things so fuck off dipshit. Secondly, I see nothing interesting with designing a car to be as aerodynamic and fast as possible, sticking a beautiful work of art in the form of an engine in it, and then… not letting it use its full potential by putting turns every little place so that they can never go full throttle… waste of engineering waste of time… but thats my own opinion and you can have yours… douchebag

  • RokkerBoyy 3 months ago

waste of gas… fuck off 5-6k gallons of gas per race weekend… america uses 375 million gallons daily, that doesn’t make a fucking dent. Next you’re gonna say it wastes fiberglass and roll cages. And banning NASCAR? I’m sorry, you must have forgotten we live in a free fucking country you dense piece of shit the government isn’t allowed to just up and ban a company especially if its not doing anything wrong.

  • RokkerBoyy 3 months ago

hell even if he was right, the it would make sense that the NATIONAL Assoc. of Stock Car Auto Racing was only popular in the country that the national stands for. However he is wrong so… whatever.

  • RonnieDobbz1978 3 months ago

turns out here is alot about racing (and probably most things) that you don’t know about.

  • RonnieDobbz1978 3 months ago

LOL go back to the kids corner.

  • RonnieDobbz1978 3 months ago

    because he is a troll

  • RonnieDobbz1978 3 months ago

Matt Lawrence Romanes only THINKS he knows what he is talking about in his own HEAD, but in reality the internet laughs at him because he doesn’t know MUCH of anything.

  • RonnieDobbz1978 3 months ago

You mean like yesterday’s race in Pennsylvannia? Or the tracks in Delaware, New York, California, or Chicago.

Seems I was originally correct in thinking you don’t have a clue what you are talking about.

  • Ares14 3 months ago

very wrong… and why are you even comparing f1 and nascar? they’re are two different cars entirely… Both are extremely challenging to master.

  • jameshisself 3 months ago

You really want to have this argument? You really think it’s because of the driver? Then how on earth did Danica Patrick put her car on pole for the Daytona 500? Clearly she is the best driver in the field. (sarc) The dominant teams have cars and set ups that have mastered the oval format. Put Boris in one of those and he’ll tear it up in qualifying just like the dominant drivers. “You’re obviously not intelligent enough to grasp this.” Thank you for that, very amusing.

Get your fucking elitist shit out of here you twat. They’re both exhilarating, and don’t get your panties in a knot about which is “harder”.

  • DunkassProduct1ons 3 months ago

Racing is racing, and fuel is fuel. By your logic, all forms of racing waste fuel and should be banned.

  • Matt Lawrence Romanes 3 months ago

I can’t be ashamed of myself because I don’t have to. Everybody has opinions. Geez, you take things too seriously

  • Patrick Luft 3 months ago

I didn’t know karts were NASCAR.

  • jeffg24LT21 3 months ago

If they didn’t make any money there, then they wouldn’t show it.

  • DunkassProduct1ons 3 months ago

New Hampshire, Lime Rock, Oxford, and all the various dirt tracks, short tracks, and kart tracks in the northeast and you think people up here want it banned? You’ve still got some learning to to, my friend.

  • LabRat4680 3 months ago

Just be cause they show it doesn’t mean it makes money there.

  • Patrick Luft 3 months ago

Look stop bothering me about it I don’t care anymore.

  • retromario96 3 months ago

Except that it’s NOT. You’re obviously not intelligent enough to grasp this, but the last time a road course specialist won an oval race was NEVER. Boris Said is probably the most prominent road course ringer in NASCAR yet whenever he even attempts to race on an oval he usually fails to qualify at all.

  • jameshisself 3 months ago

You missed the point. Turning both directions is symbolic of driving on a road course. THAT is inherently more difficult than driving on an oval. Whether the oval goes clockwise or counter clockwise is not the point.

  • MaFd0n 3 months ago

Giving F1 fans a bad name since June 24th, 2012. I hereby apologize in his name for the sake of all motorsportfans.

You should be ashamed of yourself Matt Lawrence Romanes.

  • Filatuss 3 months ago

Why did you come here at all? …

  • TReaD113 3 months ago

what most of these europeans dont realize is theres a european nascar series. whelen euro. hometracks. nascar .com/series/euro_racecar

  • TReaD113 3 months ago

clearly, because i go to a sprint cup race in new hampshire twice a year. and they used to race nationwide in canada. AND canada has its own series.

  • retromario96 3 months ago

It’s not being “rammed down” your throat you idiot. Nobody is forcing you to watch it. Nor are they broadcast on American channels overseas. In Germany for instance, they’re broadcast on Motorvision. The only country that has to rely on an American channel besides the U.S itself is Australia which gets them on the SPEED Channel soon to be FOX Sports 1 in a few days.

    1:20 the crowd goes wild

  • MacPablo4 3 months ago

Indeed it is, the differences between cars are so abysmal that lost the emotion in many cases, just some teams have oportunities to win the championship, is like football in Spain: Madrid – Barcelona.
I heard that in NASCAR the cars are all similar.

I’m not a F1 hater, F1 cars are fucking awesome, the best racing machines in my opinion, but I’m just a bit disappointed with the lack of competitivity.

    Sorry for my English. :(

  • Henrik Larsson 3 months ago

I’m gunna drive and I’m gunna go fast and I’m gunna turn to the left sumteyms!

  • theblehtubez 3 months ago

lol yeah right and how many of those aired countries are buy american owned cable companies/channels? quit ramming your boring ass motor sport down our throats i want to watch something entertaining like D1

  • PeanutWarfare 3 months ago

I’m sorry but NASCAR is an embarrassment against F1… American don’t know what racing is…. NASCAR is a prime example of how and why American dont know what corners are… A right turn??? What is this??

  • Patrick Luft 3 months ago

Banned for what stating my opinion.

  • dolphtrains2 3 months ago

so basically you think they should all be banned, just purely because you don’t like them?

i don’t like self-centred ignorant morons with no foresight. maybe i should have you banned

  • dolphtrains2 3 months ago

actually hammond was driving that thing incredibly slow. probably 140mph at the most. with a more confident driver, those things can do 200mph easily

  • dolphtrains2 3 months ago

there’s nothing worse than someone who ends their self-opinionated statement with the words ‘END OF’ or ‘END OF STORY’.

it’s like saying my opinion is the most important opinion in the room and nobody else should be allowed to express their counter opinion.
    self inflated arrogant egotistical ignorance.

  • dingdingdingdiiiiing 3 months ago

and they gave made props to some general, and his wife

  • capnjackjack1 3 months ago

NASCAR is a full contact race isn’t it?

  • retromario96 3 months ago

Turning right is not only not harder than turning left, with the way the cars are set up you have to fight them to keep them straight so it balances it out.

  • Martin Toskov 3 months ago

3:35 dear richard, that man over there is called Tony Stewart

  • Martin Toskov 3 months ago

Haha, when they introduced hammond barely anyone clapped

  • Martin Toskov 3 months ago

And now unlike most f1 fans I like nascar and f1. It’s just such a pity I can’t go to a Nascar race. Maybe if some day they come to europe I’ll be able to go

  • betterthanbooks 3 months ago

Would be nice if the comments you read actually related to the video, and not just car racing in general.

  • FELiPES101 3 months ago

most tv isn’t satellite in my area (northeast) its fios optimum or time warner none of which get bbc or bbc America on the base set of channels

  • jameshisself 3 months ago

Umm, you do realize the point of that old comment is that if you are turning right then you are on a road course, right? (correct?) As in a car that is set up neutral, not biased so it’s turning left in a straight line. More difficult.

  • jameshisself 3 months ago

Perhaps, but road courses show those things to be the heavy pigs they are. Sure plenty of power which isn’t hard anymore but they weigh nearly 3 times an F1 car and they slosh around horrible over curbings and the like.
